Post box topper has been found

Two local ladies who created a mind-blowing Christmas decoration on a Grantham pillar box were shocked to find their work had disappeared yesterday.

But after their story had been spotted on Grantham Matters, they received athe great news that it had been found.

Their work was on the Castlegate pillar box opposite the Middlemore Yard junction.

Suzanne Davies said on social media earlier today that when she turned up yesterday to collect the piece of art she had created with Megan Fawkes, the post box topper had gone!

“The hard work and hours that went into making it.

“we were hoping to use it again in a different location this year.”

Now it looks as if they can.

Megan said: “A lovely lady Jess and her father just messaged saying they found it and took it home to dry out and try and find us!

“We’ve just been to pick it up.”
