Businesses have been asked if they can help to raise funds for two charities supported by South Kesteven District Council Chairman Cllr Breda Griffin.
Cllr Griffin is asking for raffle prizes at the Chairman’s Civic Dinner, to be held on 11 March at the Bourne Corn Exchange.
Money raised will be supporting Young LivesvsCancer (formerly CLiC) and Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance.
Cllr Griffin said; “These charities are very close to my heart and it’s been a privilege to use my time as Chairman of the council to help raise funds for their vital work. Any items that can be added to our raffle would be massively appreciated.
“We can collect any donations, perhaps gift vouchers, for instance, for a meal, wine, sporting events or perhaps a musical or arts performance.”
Anyone able to help can get in touch with the Chairman’s officer Anita Eckersley, on 01476 406517 – thechairmansoffice@southkesteven.gov.uk – preferably by 7 March.
