This year’s Out and About Photography Competition run by South Kesteven District Council attracted more than 50 entries from budding photographers across the district.
Residents were challenged to submit pictures that illustrated the joy of life with fewer restrictions, and the entries largely focused on simple pleasures such as meeting up with friends, spending time with family and playing outdoors.
Councillor Rosemary Trollope-Bellew, SKDC Cabinet Member for Culture and Visitor Economy, said: “The winning images really captured the spirit of the brief, reminding us all of the simple pleasures we so easily take for granted, and the delight we take in our families, friends and having fun.”
Shortlisted entries will form part of an online exhibition at the Guildhall Arts Centre and Stamford Arts Centre and can be seen via the Facebook page: https://bit.ly/ArtsComp
Stephanie and Hayley have each been awarded a £50 gift voucher for their winning pictures
