Petrol thieves targeting cars parked at home

Young men trying to Steal Fuel last night (Sunday 26th). Grantham.

A neighbour visited about 9pm tonight to say that a different neighbour had seen two young men opening my petrol cap and trying to take petrol about 8.30pm.

Fortunately, when she banged on the window they ran off.

So please be aware if you live in the Dudley Road, Harrowby Road area or the streets in between. Or anywhere else in Grantham.

Thieves are about and are taking advantage of the current fuel crisis.

I have reported the incident to the police so the lady said she was reporting it to the local bobbies, so hopefully they will be keeping an eye out for any similar incidents in Grantham.

Hope they catch the rotten b*****s. Also, look out for petrol for sale on FB or anywhere similar.

Yes, apparently it’s happening in some places. 😳.
