Steven Penn-Berkeley  (b1962)

Grantham-born Steven was a pupil at then town’s St Wulfram’s School.

Nicknamed ‘Tosh’, in 1978 he became an apprentice motor mechanic at North Road Garages, Inner Street workshops.

In 1982, he joined American Can (later Impress) in the town and was shift manager. Over the next 19 years he progressed to manager and overseeing building and operating plants and worked in Germany, Australia, Sychelles and Impress USA.

He spent eight years with Gibraltar industries as plant manager variously at Bourbonnais Illinois / Birmingham Alabama /Dayton Texas

Mr. Penn-Berkeley joined Florence Manufacturing at Manhattan, Kansas, in 2014.

He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the operations group.
