MONDAY 24th JUNE 2024 7.30pm
In the past during the period before a General Election, St Wulfram’s Church has often organised election meetings (sometimes known as hustings) where members of the public can listen to and ask questions of the candidates standing for election.
This is a public service, to support the democratic process, to facilitate public debate, and as a contribution to the common good. This is an opportunity for respectful discussion in a neutral space and often appreciated by candidates as well as voters.
All candidates standing to be the new Grantham and Bourne Member of Parliament have been invited to attend.
Each candidate will be invited to give an opening statement, answer some pre submitted questions, field fresh questions from the floor, and give a closing statement.
To submit a question before the Hustings, please email Fr Stuart by Sunday 23rd June (noon) stuart.cradduck@stwulframs.com
When submitting your question, please state your name, age, who the question is directed to or if towards the whole panel, and please keep your question brief.
(If there is more than one question on a single theme, those questions will be asked as single question.)
This is a free event and there is no need to register that you will be attending.

- John Vincent (Liberal Democrat)
