Grantham Additional Needs Fellowship (GANF) held its second annual Fundraising Ball to support its Forest School Project at the weekend
The event was a “Candyland Ball” theme and there were many sweet treats around at the function that was held at Grantham’s Masonic Hall, Chamber Street.
All guests went to town with stunning outfits and everyone had a Ball.
The evening was a follow up to the successful Masquerade Ball held the previous year by GANF Parent Julie Pattison, whose son Joe has attended Sandon School since he was 8 years old.
Joe (now 19) has Global Developmental Delay and will be leaving Sandon this month to go onto College and Julie wanted to give something back.
Sher said: “My reason for organising these events is because it is Joe’s last year at Sandon School and over the past 11 years they have helped not only Joe but the whole family.
“I wanted to give something back and help GANF raise funds for their Forest School. September will be a new beginning for Joe as he goes onto Grantham College”.
GANF received kind support for the event from local businesses and would like to thank them all for their support. Special thanks goes to “The Print Bureau”, for their huge support of the event and also “Make my day Venue Dressing”, “Grantham Gingerbread” and “Stapleford Park”.
The Candyland Ball raised a whopping £2,130 for GANF’s new Forest School Project.
