Grantham opticians put Rainbows’ safety in focus with high-vis vest donation
AN OPTICIANS in Grantham is helping youngsters in the local community to be seen clearly by donating high visibility vests to a local Rainbow group.
Specsavers at The Isaac Newton Centre has provided the vests to the 10th Grantham Rainbows to help the children stay visible when out and about.
The group of youngsters will now be able to wear their jackets with pride when taking part in activities and getting involved with local projects throughout the year while helping them remain visible to road users and others in the community.
Colin Ducker, director at the locally owned and run store, says: ‘The team are keen to support the local community whenever we can.
‘We hope that the vests will provide some peace of mind for guardians and for the volunteers who look after the children when they are taking part in outdoor activities.’
