South Kesteven District Council say from that from yesterday the cemetery will be locked to the public for general access. Families attending funeral services will still be allowed in to the grounds.
One of the members of staff from the crematorium will be at the gates 15 minutes before a service commences and establish whether people are here to attend a funeral in order to let them in.
When the funeral hearse arrives they will unlock the gates only to let it and any following family vehicles in.
When the service is over they will open the gate.
The number of attendees at services is still as per the previous guidelines that can be found on a separate post which we made last week.

I’m totally gutted :,o( it’s my Nans birthday today & was going up to leave flowers.
Surely people cannot be congregating up there & not listening to guidelines??
My Mum & other family members who visit the grave regularly will be devastated…..
