Newark-based specialist car discount service, Motorfinity, has appointed 17 new members of staff following a period of significant growth.
Motorfinity specialises in providing exclusive discounts for NHS, emergency services, social care, teachers and defence workers.
Since 2022, the company has gone from 30 employees to 47, after recruiting 14 team members and three apprentices over the past few months.
Dean Skiba, COO at Motorfinity, said:
“The last few years have certainly come with their challenges, but it’s also marked a period of extreme growth for us. The beginning of 2022 saw us move to the space we’re in now on Northern Road, Newark, and towards the end of 2022 we launched FinanceFinity which provides low rate finance for the UK’s service and care personnel. It only makes sense that 2023 has started with plenty of new faces to continue this growth.
“We’ve seen a huge increase in orders and enquiries and have been able to help more customers drive their ideal car that suits their needs. A new car often serves as a lifeline for so many of the nation’s critical workers and each year we work hard to support and make life a little bit easier for them to be able to afford a safe, reliable vehicle.”
Following such a busy period, Motorfinity has grown its sales team by six, with the introduction of Olivia Wise and Jed Wilton as account managers, Dalil Yousif and Joseph Carrington as account manager assistants, and Meah Kirk and Katie Powell coming on board as sales and finance co-ordinators.
Motorfinity’s Marketing team has also seen an influx of new talent as Zeeshan Malik joins as SEO specialist, Olly Waszkiewicz as videographer and Megan Skerrit as marketing assistant.
Elsewhere, the business has also seen the addition of Laura Clarke as leasing account manager, Albert Kubicki as operations assistant, Rebekah Hunt as executive assistant and Lucy Ford as assistant management accountant, as well three new apprentices, James O’Connor, Ben Bilton and Bella Thompson.
Dean adds:
“Over the coming months, these new positions will play a key role in helping us support even more customers and continuing to ensure that our service offering meets the needs of frontline workers. We couldn’t be prouder of our staff, new and old, and we’re looking forward to another successful year.”
