New What’s On brochures from South Kesteven District Council’s arts centres are now available with details of packed summer programmes.
Both Grantham’s Guildhall Arts Centre and Stamford Arts Centre have brochures available online through their websites, with printed copies available at each venue.
Each has details of varied events for all ages, from family workshops to dance, poetry, drama, music and comedy and this summer’s popular Music in Quiet Places season.
Cllr Rosemary Trollope-Bellew, SKDC Cabinet Member for Culture and the Visitor Economy said; “It’s absolutely brilliant to see our arts centres back open and running after such a difficult time during the pandemic.
“Our arts teams have worked hard to organise top class entertainment across the board, with something for everyone. We are extremely excited to once again be able to welcome audiences to events right across the district.”
In Grantham, popular Neil Sands and his talented West End cast return with ‘Happy and Glorious’, a celebration of Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee on 20 May.
It’s part of a packed musical season including The Ultimate Commitments and Blues Brothers, Dervish and Damien O Kane, plus drama from Theatre Fideri Fidera with their latest family show Ugg Ogg.
The Groove disco for adults with additional needs is back and there’s family fun this summer with a range of family workshops plus a summer camp from resident youth drama group New Youth Theatre.
