Never mind the roadworks… It’s the music I can’t stand

We are now into the 5th month of roadworks on Barrowby Road.

That is 5 solid months of being woken up by Lorrys and cars playing music loudly which keeps us awake from 5am until about 1am.

Trying to get in and out of our properties is a nightmare (god only knows what it will be like at 8am with all the new houses with 2 cars each) we have been counting down the days until this hell ends only to receive a letter from the council yesterday stating in June there will be ANOTHER 5 weeks of roadworks.

We are unable to sleep with windows open as it is so when it gets hotter the nightmare will worsen.

Thanks council!!!! Trust me if I knew where you lived I would at this point sit in a car outside your house blaring music at 5am on a Sunday morning to see how you and your family enjoy it!!!!
