A man has died at the scene of a collision between his motorcycle and and a lorry on the A151 at Grimsthorpe, near Corby Glen.
The driver of the motorcycle was previously reported to have sustained ‘serious injuries’ as a result of the crash.
The collision happened at 11.58am on Thursday, November 3, on the A151 between Forstedd Hill and Little Close. The road was immediately closed and police officers asked motorists to avoid the area.
The lorry was reported by Inrix to have jack-knifed following the collision. Lincolnshire Police has said the man’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by police officers.
The road will be closed in both directions through into the evening of November 3.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “Did you witness the collision between a lorry and a motorcycle on the A151 at Grimsthorpe around 11.58am today? (3 November).
