LINCOLNSHIRE Police and the East Midlands Special Operations Unit have executed further warrants in the Earlesfield area of Grantham this morning (Thursday 23 October 2014).
Two men were arrested this morning on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
The enforcement action follows arrests and searches carried out yesterday in the same area of the town, as well as locations in Nottinghamshire and Greater Manchester.
A total of 12 people were arrested on Wednesday. All remain in custody.
The warrants all relate to the same investigation into the supply of class A drugs.
DCC Heather Roach, of Lincolnshire Police, said: “I would like to thank local residents for their patience during the course of this necessary enforcement action yesterday and today.
“Once again, this is intended to protect the community from the impact that the supply and sale of illegal drugs can have through a variety of crime types, and also to identify and take the appropriate action against those involved in this activity.”
