Members vote for superstar colleagues to win award

February 4, 2026 Leave a Comment

Over 300,000 members are being invited to vote for a Lincolnshire Co-op colleague to win a prestigious honour later this year.

Lincolnshire Co-op has over 3,000 colleagues across more than 220 outlets, including food stores, pharmacies, post offices, travel branches, funeral homes and more. Members are being asked to vote for which colleague they’d like to see win the Members’ Choice Award at the retailer’s annual Spotlight Awards, which showcases the society’s colleagues and teams that have gone above and beyond. The winner will be selected based on the number of votes they receive.

Yvette Ilacad, Lincolnshire Co-op’s Customer Care Co-ordinator, speaks with members everyday about their positive experiences across the business.

She said: “I have the privilege to hear about the incredible impact that our team has on our members. “This award gives our members a meaningful way to say thank you to Lincolnshire Co-op colleagues who have made a difference to them and it’s exciting to know they will be recognised.”

Members with a dividend card who have signed up for email communications will receive an email with a link to the nomination form, where they can submit one nomination. They can also vote on the society’s website: www.lincolnshire.coop/nominate Voting closes on Tuesday 17th February 2026.

Rik Greig, Lincolnshire Co-op’s Member Engagement Manager, said: “Our members are important to us as a co-operative and we value their opinions, which makes the Members’ Choice Award truly special.

“Whether a funeral colleague supported your family, a member of our pharmacy team gave useful health advice, a travel agent helped arrange a fantastic holiday or a food or post office colleague provided exceptional service, we can’t wait to hear your stories. Every member has one chance to vote, so make it count!”
