Funhouse Comedy Club launches the new season with another great line-up of
comedians, at Grantham Railway Social Club on Thursday January 29th.
Topping the bill is The Raymond and Mr Timpkins Revue, one of the absolute
funniest and most unique acts you will ever see in a comedy club. Countless crazy
props set to a musical backing track will have you crying with laughter. Britain’s Got
Talent have been begging them to go on the show every year since it started, but
they keep declining!
Opening the night will be the charming comedian, actor and writer Alistair Barrie.
Travelling all over the world to perform he has appeared at the world’s highest gig on
a mountain in France and on a boat in the middle of the North Sea. With his riotously
acerbic, achingly funny diatribe he persuades his audience to be part of his world,
leaving them wanting for more.
Also appearing is ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ winner 2021 Omar Badawy, talking
about his encounters with strange school friends, football fans and EDL-badge-
wearing bouncers, providing unique insight about his childhood moving from Egypt to
Wales to Cambridge.
Completing the line-up will be Laurie Brewster with his quick wit and concise
punchlines.
Compere for the night is the cheerful and energetic Spiky Mike.
