A man was left shocked after his car was crushed by a lorry while he was parked outside his workplace.
Officers were called to the scene of the crash after the smash – and one man said it was lucky that nobody was hurt.
His colleagues on Alma Park Road in Grantham had heard a large bang and rushed outside to see what it was – only to find the car had been badly damaged.
The man, who asked to remain anonymous, told Lincolnshire Live: “The car was parked in a private car park at our workplace – it’s my friend’s car.
“He went across the road and smashed into a wall before crushing my friend’s car.
“It’s lucky that nobody was hurt. Ten minutes later and my friend could’ve been dead.
“He usually goes out for his dinner at that time.
“He’s only had the car for three months and it was a good motor.
“It’s a shame that this has happened but it’s fortunate that no one was hurt.”
A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: “Our officers attended Alma Park at 12.50pm after a lorry collided with a wall and a vehicle.
“We are not aware of any injuries.”
