THE 1974 Milk Race shoots out of Brownlow Street. Broad Street is in the background but Premier Court has yet to be built. Otherwise, little has changed in 45 years

    A few faces I recognise I think? Just them few on the corner! …..Must be? 5 or 6 & cant remember their names! even the fella with his back to us?…………..Haha sorry folk! gotta mention I see @Manthinker over the other side of the road in his “Throbbing Robin” turned up to have a sneck! Haha bless him! …He will have a moan about s’mat on here!…….I understand that bit of road is “one way now” ? No left turn! thats all he needs to spot? lets see now! about 2.15 pm here 1.15pm Linc’s if he is not in North Korea or somewhere nice! err praps a bit tired & havin a kip after polishing the “soap box” Wow eh! imagine his dreams! Freak weather flattenns new builds! Barton on Humber councillor gets bad stomach after tea & biscuits, @ a meeting & blames a Stamford councillor! then wakes up& go’s Hey up duck just had a great dream! He’s a Star!

      You certainly put that over well, the throbbing Robin I think is a Reliant Regal 13/25.
      As you know me so well I want to ask you a question “ Are we related” now I know you will deny it I’m beginning to wonder, it’s either that or you wish we were.
