Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LPFT) is holding its Annual Public and Members Meeting virtually on Wednesday 29 September 2021 from 10am to 11:30am.
The meeting will be opened by Trust Chair Kevin Lockyer and will feature various presentations showcasing the work of key projects and services during the last financial year.
The event will allow the public to see how the Trust has responded to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and how it has taken strides to innovate and adapt services to promote wellbeing and support people with mental health problems, learning disabilities and autism to live well in their communities.
Mr Lockyer said: “Our Annual Public and Members Meeting is a highlight of our year and an opportunity for us publicly to share our progress; to reflect on the Trust’s performance over the last year; and to set out our plans and aims for the future.
“We have a lot to be proud of during what has been a hugely challenging year, not least being a finalist for Mental Health Trust of the Year in the Health Service Journal (HSJ) Awards 2020. The pandemic has challenged the way we deliver our services and we have all been working hard to ensure we continue to provide the highest quality of care.
“Despite being unable to meet in person, we hope that you will be able to join us online.”
Attendees do not need special software installed to join; all they need is access to the internet as it will be held using Microsoft Teams. A recording will also be available after the event for those who can’t join on the day.
To join the meeting there is no need to book, participants just need to go to https://bit.ly/LPFT-APM2021.
There will also be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions, gaining a unique insight into the work, plans and priorities for the Trust. If anyone would like to submit a question in advance they can email the Deputy Trust Secretary, Karen Scott, on karen.scott4@nhs.net by midday on Tuesday 28 September or participants can ask them live on the day.
