Lincolnshire Police has welcomed a new cohort of police officers as part of its long-term Lincs 2030 programme, marking another important step in strengthening policing across the county.
The new recruits will begin their training before joining teams across Lincolnshire, where they will help protect vulnerable people, tackle crime, support victims and work alongside colleagues to keep communities safe.
The recruitment forms part of the Force’s wider commitment to investing in people, technology and modern policing through Lincs 2030. The programme is designed to ensure Lincolnshire Police has the skills, capacity and resilience needed to meet the demands of policing today while preparing for the challenges of the future.
Chief Constable Paul Gibson, who attended Cohort 39’s passing out parade this week, said:
“Every new officer represents an investment in the future of policing in Lincolnshire. Our communities rightly expect a police service that is visible, responsive and able to protect those who need us most.
“Through Lincs 2030, we’re investing in our people as well as the technology and capabilities that support them. These new officers will develop into the experienced professionals who will serve our communities for years to come, helping us build a stronger, more resilient police service.”

As they progress through their training and operational learning, the new officers will gain experience across a range of policing roles, supported by experienced colleagues and specialist teams.
Lincs 2030 is delivering sustained investment to strengthen Lincolnshire Police for the future. Alongside recruiting new officers, the programme is improving digital technology, developing the workforce and modernising the way the force operates, ensuring communities continue to receive the high-quality policing service they deserve.
