Be careful if you are on Grantham’s High Street and want to use the Zebra crossing outside the Nationwide BS, near Guildhall Street.
The flood on the crossing is too deep to walk through without wellies, too wide to step over and about 4 or 5 yards long, so pedestrians have to walk on the road for several yards before being able to reach the pavement!
If they are not run over meanwhile!!
I have reported this to LCC on 01522 78207 and Brendan assured me it has already been reported and will be “dealt with” today.
It already had a reference No – 2875339 – so if it is still a problem next time you are walking that way, please report it again until it is sorted and doesn’t reappear every time it rains!
Meanwhile take care as any pedestrians will be soaked if a speeding car goes through this small lake as you are walking by!
