Today I walked along the Riverside Walk from St Catherine’s Rd to St John’s Church and was disgusted to see these two large piles of dog pooh!
The first was next to a litter bin close to the wooden bridge over the River (near Stone Mason’s Court) and the second is on the right-hand side on Nursery Path leading from London Road to St John’s Church.
The piles look as if they are from the same large dog and the owner should be ashamed that they are not bothering to pick up after their dog and leaving the mess for unsuspecting pedestrians to walk through, especially after dark.
So be very careful if you are walking, and if you see any dog owner leaving such hazards on our paths, please take photos and report to the council on 01476 406080 and select Environmental Health as an option when you get through.
