Jody Clark says,
**** Update from today’s LCHS Meeting *****
They reiterated that our UTC is open to walk in access, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
They confirmed that more people are now using the UTC than the paper stated.
They confirmed that X-Ray is only available from 8am until 8pm and they do take GP referrals but you need to make an appointment to help with social distancing.
They cannot do blood tests but you can get them done at your GP surgery.
The security staff are employed by ULHT, they are only there to ensure the non tested patients only access the UTC and to direct the tested patients to the Green site.
They are not to restrict access to the 24hr, 7 day a week, walk in access.
They confirmed that our UTC is on Derbyshire Health’s 111 system (that covers our county) and if you have a concern regarding 111, then please contact PALS with your details

As they can then listen in to your call and work out why Grantham’s UTC isn’t being offered.
It was good to hear that they have not suffered increased deaths in this quarter, regardless of Covid-19. I hope this continues 🤞
Please do keep using our UTC ❤
