Iconic chopper’s 50th Anniversary Flypast

There will be an RAF Puma 50th anniversary flypast by several helicopters today, Wednesday 7th July 2021.

They will fly from RAF Benson to RAF Scampton from 10am to 11.49am, then RAF Scampton to Middle Wallop from 1.30pm to 3.34pm, and then Middle Wallop back to RAF Benson from 5pm to 6.31pm.

A new 50th anniversary paint scheme on one of the Puma helicopters was unveiled on 2nd July 2021.

It may well be spotted near Grantham as it flies from RAF Wittering to RAF Barkston Heath
