Road users across the country are being advised to check the weather forecast and road conditions before they travel this weekend (Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th February) as strong winds and heavy rain are forecast.
Highways England is working closely with the Met Office in monitoring the weather conditions. Met Office weather warnings for wind and rain will be in effect from 8am Saturday 15th until 9pm Sunday 16th February.
Road users are advised to take care when travelling, allowing plenty of time to complete your journey and consider whether your journey is necessary before setting out.
