Nice one of Harrison Stationers. It’s a shame that we haven’t one of Charity Jones Greeves will ramble on and on about how he obtained his many pairs of boots, dealer or lace ups, you know the ones with the big thick soles, workmen used to wear them years ago before Safety Boots came out.
Great photo though more please!!

She was Frank Wakefieds Blacksmith until he bought that AEC with V8* in it & at 83 made her redundant! so yung un here had the boots! looked a right “pillock” wandrin Lincs in them & home made “bib & braces made out of her work dresses! ……Now then I bet she could have made better AEC patches for yer Tank Tops & that old Baseball hat! ……..Yer see if you had been me mate! I could have sorted that little job for you!

Nice to see you dropped in Frank Wakefield’s name in along with that mighty V8 Mandater,
If I’d have been your mate and asked you to sort out my AEC badges you would have shot your hand out as quick as a flash and demanded money.
Remember old George who had the black Labrador dog and his Ford Custom Cab four wheeler, used to take loads of seed to Petfoods
