HOUSE hunters looking for an affordable new build home within a countryside setting are invited to take a first look at the beautiful show home at Ancaster View on Saturday 12th October 2019 from 10am to 3pm.
Ancaster View, developed by Midlands-based developer Wheatcroft Land under its new residential brand Wheatcroft Homes, has already generated strong interest due to its village location, the availability of Help to Buy, and the inclusion of kitchen appliances and a renewable energy source to keep fuel bills low.
Visitors to site this weekend will be the first to see the high-quality finishes that are offered as standard and get a taste for life at the new community.
Catherine Haward, director of Wheatcroft Land, said: “Ancaster View has been designed as an exclusive collection of starter homes. The village location means the development is quite unique and our approach as a small developer has meant we can be hands-on and give buyers exactly what they asked for.
“At the very start of this process, we spoke to the local community and they told us they needed affordable homes for young people so we’re expecting the show home to be busy from Saturday onwards.
“We always work with other Midlands companies where possible and we’re thrilled with the work of Derbyshire based Lemon and Lime Interiors. The show home is stunning and I’m looking forward to hearing the thoughts of the first people through the door.”
Each home includes underfloor heating on the ground floor with all heating and hot water being provided via a Mitsubishi Electric air source heat pump – one of the most advanced, efficient renewable heating systems available, giving residents the bonus of lower fuel bills and reduced carbon emissions.
The mixture of two and three-bedroom terrace and semi-detached properties include fitted kitchens with appliances such as a washer/dryer, ceramic hob, oven, fridge freezer and a dishwasher plus as much storage space has been created as possible.
The 1.1 acre plot – which formerly housed a repair garage – has been built by award-winning construction company Gelder Group and marketed by local property agent Pygott & Crone.
Prices start at £150,000 for a two-bedroom property and £185,000 for a three bedroom property.
Wheatcroft Land gained planning permission for the housing development in December 2016, following purchase of the site in 2015, which had previously remained unused for several years.
