The Hospice Income Generation Network has just announced registrations are now open for their virtual four-day conference with interactive sessions, an at home conference ‘kit’ posted directly to delegates, networking, awards and prizes.
The organisation, previously known as NAHF is renowned for its annual event to educate, share best practice, unite and celebrate hospice workers throughout the UK – and 2021 is no different.
Chair of the Hospice Income Generation Network – Christine Davies says: “I am so proud of all we have achieved as a Movement – overnight we had the rug pulled, events cancelled, and our home was our new office for many months – some almost a year.
“As an organisation we all had one common goal – to be there for our colleagues and peers as a support network, a place they could turn to for advice, to share experiences and sometimes just a listening ear. We’ve got through the toughest most restrictive part and now our thoughts turn to what’s next. As we emerge from this crisis the Hospice Income Generation Network will be with you every step of the way.
“Just over a year since our last physical conference we’ve announce our adapted virtual one and it will be a virtual offering like no other. The conference content is bursting with inspiration, information and interest. You will no doubt take many action points back to your hospices, so I hope you have pen and paper ready for your notes.”
From Tuesday 27th to Friday 30th April 2020 the Trustees have scheduled a thought-provoking conference for all Hospice Income Generation teams, from Fundraising, Retail and Lottery to Marketing and Communications and Grants and Trusts – there is something for everyone; at every level.
What’s more, this isn’t any ordinary Zoom session, the platform AirMeet gives you a chance to get involved in Q and A sessions and network (just like the good old days) with fellow hospices, exhibitors and guest speakers.
The conference hosts some leading Industry experts in Zoe Amar, Jonathan Cook and Richard Docwra who will deliver inspiring and insightful plenaries each day where they will unpick the last year and give insights on digital and data. Then, delegates can pick and choose their conference sessions which are a mix of ‘how to, sharing successes, what’s hot and what’s not’ sessions from other hospice teams as well as keynote speakers, industry leaders and influential trainers.
There will be over 40 sessions throughout the 4 days on a range of topics for you to watch ranging from ‘Doing events differently’, ‘Diversification in retail and trading’ ‘Why facebook challenges are raising millions for hospices’ ‘Sticky storytelling’, ‘Pivoting a hospice through crisis’, ‘How to walk in the shoes of your supporters’ and so much more.
Registration is only £149 and this year, the cost is per hospice rather than person. Visit our website for a full list of sessions and to register your place https://www.hospice-ign.org.uk/DB/nahf-events/conference-2021
Be an ‘Early Bird’ and book before Friday 9 April to ensure you receive your Conference Kit at home in time!
Christine added: “This conference is not about you being alone and staring at a screen – this will be interactive and as close to a physical event as we can make it, so please do join in!
“We wish you the very best for conference and beyond.”
