Downtown stores at Grantham and Boston and Downtown Garden Centre at Grantham are now successfully reopened, and they are now looking forward to reopening their cafes on Saturday 4th July.
A spokesman said: “We’re working extra hard to ensure it’s safe and easy to enjoy eating and socialising at a 2m distance of course, and that our customers and colleagues stay protected.
“We have really missed seeing our wonderful customers in our ever-popular Cafes and we are very excited about the 4th.”
In order to facilitate the reopening, they will be putting the following measures into place:
• We are limiting the number of customers in our cafes at any one time, in line with the Government’s guidance on social distancing
• We are urging all customers and colleagues to follow Public Health England’s advice on handwashing
• We are sanitising all our surfaces and introducing a new, select at your table menu
• We have Perspex screens at our till points and our staff have protective masks, gloves and visors
• There are hand sanitiser points at the entrance and each customer has their own sanitised tray and menu
• We are encouraging our customers to shop in a cashless and contactless way to prevent unnecessary contact
The spokeman continued: “If we all work together we can stay safe and well. Our new opening hours for both the Garden Centre and Downtown Cafes are: 10am – 4pm Monday to Saturday, and 10am – 3pm on Sunday.
“We can’t wait to welcome customers back into our cafes and hope they enjoy eating from our new select food and drink menu.”
