Have your say on SKDC’s Customer Experience Strategy

March 10, 2025 by Grantham Matters Leave a Comment

South Kesteven District Council is keen to hear views on how it interacts with residents and other stakeholders.

A new consultation opening today (10th March) wants to find out how, when, and why customers contact the Council, and what is most important to them when they do.

Feedback will help to shape SKDC’s Customer Experience Strategy to ensure that the way the customers interact with the council meets their needs and reflect how digital technology advances are helping customers.

The strategy will also include a focus on assisting the more vulnerable members of South Kesteven’s communities when they contact the Council.

Cllr Philip Knowles – Cabinet Member for Corporate Governance and Licensing said: “We are committed to putting our customers at the heart of everything we do.

“We want to hear customers’ experiences to assess how well we are doing and how we can improve things.

“We would also like to know what you think of our Customer Experience Strategy so far and would value your opinion on our ambitions.

“Those ambitions include improving digital access to our services, helping customers do more online if they want to, and continuing to provide other options for those who don’t.

“Adopting a flexible approach will ensure that we can make the most of the resources we have and direct them where they are most needed.

“By taking part in this consultation, you will help create a Customer Experience Strategy for South Kesteven which is built on your needs and priorities. Please use this opportunity to have your say.”

The consultation on the strategy is open until the 7 April 2025.

Printed copies of the survey will also be available at SKDC’s Customer Service Centre, The Picture House, St Catherine’s Road, Grantham or Bourne Community Access Point and Library, Abbey Road, Bourne.
