Lincolnshire Police is appealing for help in identifying the man pictured in connection with a fraud investigation.
An enquiry was launched after a member of public living in Lincolnshire reported a fraud. It is believed that a number of names and addresses used to set up Ebay accounts and bank accounts were fake.
Officers investigating the incident subsequently identified links in Avon and Somerset, West Midlands, Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire, and Berkshire.
Fraud2 At just before 11.40am on Tuesday 23rd September a man in the Swansgate Shopping Centre in Wellingborough, Northants, made a card payment of £2350.65 to Eurochange.
On the same day there were further transactions and payments in the Wellingborough area.
The card used is thought to be linked to a Barclays Bank account which has been involved in a high value Ebay fraud. Between the 22nd and 23rd of September £5,306 was paid into the Barclays account by someone who thought they were bidding on and ultimately won a Land Rover Defender.
The vehicle was never for sale and fake addresses and personal details had been used to set up the Ebay account and Barclays bank account.
Investigating officers would like to talk to the man picture to see if he can assist with the inquiry.
