Funhouse Comedy Club returns to Grantham Railway Social Club on Thursday
March 20th for another night full of laughter.
Topping the bill is Irish comedian Andrew Maxwell who has appeared on several TV
programmes, including ‘Live At The Apollo’ and ‘Mock The Week’, as well as having
his own Radio 4 series. A connoisseur of the ridiculous, and yet not the slightest bit
cynical, with hard-hitting and hilarious material covering a variety of topics.
Opening the night will be Roger Monkhouse one of the most experienced acts in the
business. His deadpan style and quick wit make him one of the best acts out there,
and he is a regular fixture at top venues all over the country, as well as performing
extensively throughout the rest of the world.
Also appearing is Jules O’Brian, shortlisted for Funny Women 2021, she enjoys
telling anyone who will listen about ageing disgracefully, body hang-ups, parenting,
and dating all done with a twinkle in her eye.
Compere for the night will be the amiable and animated Spiky Mike.
