Cllr Chris Noon says,
I popped down to the play area earlier, to have a quick look at how things were coming along. We were told it would be ready by the end of March. It looks like it’s coming along nicely.

The Harrowby Lane project is part of a wider investment of nearly £250,000 across South Kesteven to replace swings, see-saws, springs, and climbing equipment. South Kesteven District Council has allocated £95,910 for the Harrowby Lane refurbishment, delivered in partnership with Kompan Ltd.
Funding comes from s106 developer contributions from recent builds in the district. Additional improvements are planned at Dysart Park, Wyndham Park, and Queen Elizabeth Park in Grantham; Andrew Road, Empingham Road, and Elizabeth Road in Stamford; The Crescent in Morton; and Kesteven Drive in Market Deeping.
Deputy Leader of SKDC, Cllr Paul Stokes, said the upgrades will provide equipment for children of all ages and abilities, and thanked residents for their patience while the parks remain closed. The Harrowby Lane refurbishment was nominated by Cllr Noon and supported by SKDC Chairman Cllr Ian Selby.
