The stunning grounds of Grantham House (by kind permission of the National Trust) come to life as we celebrate the spirit of early 20th Century Britain with two days of period and vintage displays and activities, showcasing life from the 1920’s – through the War Years – to the 1950’s.
Across the gardens and the house, there will be a diverse range of attractions including: vintage vehicles, reenactors and living history groups, dancing and music, trade and craft stalls, a vintage tea room and bar, family activities, vintage hairstylist and fashion, and a Saturday evening live band and dancing. There will also be a flypast by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
Visitors are encouraged to come along dressed in their best vintage attire, and take part in our fashion parade and stand the chance of being crowned as the days ‘Best Dressed’ person.
Grantham Vintage Festival is held on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th June 2021, and open to the public from 10am. The road running parallel with the house (Castlegate) will be closed to traffic, but will be open for access.
