Grantham pupils warned over fights arranged on social media

November 1, 2019 by Grantham Matters 1 Comment

Pupils from Priory Ruskin and Kings school have been warned following two days of confrontation.

Police were called and exclusions threatened following altercations between them.

Six police officers were outside Kings School today after school, breaking things up.

Sargent Ian Cotton of Grantham Police said: “We are aware of the issues caused by youths associated with Priory Ruskin School and Kings School yesterday.”

“It appears a fight between certain pupils was arranged over social media.”

“Our officers have been into both schools and others in the area today. We are in the process of gathering evidence in relation to what happened and those responsible will be dealt with.”

“A dispersal order will be in effect from 1400 today until midnight for the area around the schools, anyone breaching an officers request to leave the area will be arrested.”

“There will be an increased police presence in the area today after school. If you have any information in relation to the issues please call Lincolnshire Police on 101 and quote incident number 279 of 31/10/19.”

Warning theses stupid people won’t deter them.
The Police have for more important things to do instead of standing outside of schools in case mindless individuals feel like having a fight.
Why not give the parents of these little charmers a stiff fine then they may realise and teach their loveable little cherubs how to behave in public and with each other.
Not enough discipline, too free and easy, make those responsible toe the line.
