Wyndham Park Nursery School has maintained its ‘Outstanding quality of education’ for the fourth consecutive time according to the recent OFSTED inspection which took place on 16th May 2019.
The inspection report praises the “vast range of bespoke learning opportunities” and “skilfully designed learning activities” which enables children to develop the skills and attributes that means that “they are exceptionally well prepared for their next stage of education”.
The report praises outcomes for all groups of children, saying “ …children make outstanding progress from their different starting points. A significant proportion of children make more than typical progress across all areas of learning due to the highly personalised learning in which the children flourish”.
Andrew Lakatos, OFSTED Inspector, made particular reference to the “excellent relationships” and the ”kindness, support and teamwork that permeate the entire setting and contribute significantly to its success”. He was full of praise for the children themselves saying that “children’s attitudes and behaviour are outstanding”.
Mrs Laura Cook, Head teacher at Wyndham Park since September 2014, is delighted with the report, saying “I am obviously thrilled with the result of the recent inspection. The staff and governors have worked so hard since the previous inspection and have been enthusiastic and committed to implementing the changes that continue to drive the nursery forward.
“This is the fourth consecutive Outstanding judgement for the school and is recognition of the hard work and effort by the entire team that goes on throughout the year.
“We are proud that our nursery is full of happy children and their parents; without the amazing support from our children’s families, our role would be a lot more difficult. This is a well deserved success for everyone involved with our school.”
The full report is available to read on both the Ofsted website and that of Wyndham Park Nursery School.
The Nursery does have a few spaces left for September and welcomes interested families to come and look around and see the amazing learning environment for themselves on our open morning on Friday 5th July between 9.30 and 10.30am.
