A funding workshop in Grantham is offering guidance and help for local community organisations, groups and charities to identify and secure grant aid.
South Kesteven District Council has organised the 18 January evening event to share information on funding opportunities, including its UK Shared Prosperity Fund, LotterySK and the SK Community Fund.
There will also be information on funding available through the National Lottery.
The free workshop is in the River Room in the Jubilee Church Life Centre at the junction between St Catherine’s Road and London Road.
Interested parties are asked to book a place through Eventbrite to give organisers an idea on numbers attending- https://tinyurl.com/skdcfundingworkshop
The drop-in event runs from 6pm to 8pm with informal chats on what’s available to support small grass roots events and initiatives through to larger projects needing capital investment.
Cllr Rhea Rayside, SKDC Cabinet member for People and Communities, said: “We have already held extremely successful events in Stamford and Market Deeping with excellent feedback from attendees and valuable follow-up by our staff.
“We look forward to the same success in Grantham as we cover the district to make everyone aware of the range of grants and funding that we now offer.
“I would urge organisations and charities to come and have a chat so that we can explain available options and guide them down the best route.”
The Council is also organising a Funding Fair in the Bourne Corn Exchange on 27 March where groups can meet funders.
