Pretty Muddy is a women-only, non-competitive 5k obstacle course with added mud and is the perfect challenge for those looking to commit to get more active in 2015. The Dirt Dolls were inspired to run as a team after one of their colleagues was struck down by cancer last year. Despite undergoing treatment, Deb Richardson was there at the finish line to make a surprise appearance to her female colleagues and thank them for their support.
Team Leader, Catherine Smith, said We wanted to fight back and do something for all those friends and relations close to us that have been effected by cancer. Theres been a huge positive response to this event and its got more of us out running and training on a regular basis. The girls have been fantastic and Grantham College has supported us in this event. Thanks to everyone out there who sponsored us and believed in us.
