
In loving memory of George Charles Roy Chivers, passed away on 3rd September 2025 aged 78 years.
It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, dad, grandad and great grandad. George Charles Roy Chivers, who left us peacefully on Wednesday 3 rd September 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in 1946, George lived a life marked by kindness, quiet strength and unwavering dedication to those he loved.
Known as Grandad Pipe to his grandchildren and great grandchildren, his legacy lives on in his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
His strength and kindness also passed on to everyone he met. He brought joy to everyone`s lives. His love of tigers and Tiger beer all made us laugh. He inspired everyone, especially to the children and young adults he taught in the Air Training Corps as Commanding Officer. His dedication to his constituents whilst he was a councillor for Belmont Ward and Chairman at SKDC.
George`s life will be celebrated at St. Wulfram`s Church on Friday 10 th October at 11.30am followed by a private family burial.
