Lincolnshire Community Foundation has received further funding and can offer grants from the Evan Cornish Grassroots Fund to community groups, charities, social enterprises and charitable organisations operating for the benefit of residents living in Lincolnshire, including North and North East Lincolnshire.
Grants of up to £5,000.00 can be requested as long as they address one of the fund priorities which are social cohesion, advice and support, older people, homelessness and food security.
Applications can also cover those costs associated with response and recovery due to the impact of Covid-19 including a contribution towards running costs, overheads, equipment, volunteer costs and resources.
Applications from groups that have previously been successful will be considered, provided the grant has been spent and recipients have reported on the outcomes achieved.
Examples of successful projects include counselling services for victims of sexual abuse, young people or those who been bereaved, craft packs for isolated older people in care homes, mental health support and advice, employment advice and support, food provision and overheads, befriending support, carers sitter service etc.
Eligibility: Not for profit volunteer led groups, social enterprises, community interest companies that have a governing document, accounts, bank account and relevant policies and procedures. Foundation staff can give advice about these matters if required.
