Paul Rawden has brought in an experienced face to bolster the squad and his coaching team.
The Gingerbreads are delighted to welcome Francois Zoko to the club, as he takes the position of Player / First Team Coach, as well as taking up a Football in the Community role.
Francois is an Ivory Coast youth international who started his career in France, with spells in Belgium and Turkey, before moving to England in 2010, where he has garnered a wealth of football league experience, either as a winger or striker. His clubs include Carlisle United, Notts County, Blackpool, Bradford City, and most recently Yeovil Town. Paul Rawden added, “Francois will be a great asset for the club, both on and off the pitch. His professionalism and knowledge will really benefit the younger players in the squad. I’m delighted!”
As a consequence of the new arrival, the Gingerbreads are delighted to announce that Adam Smith will be moving up to Player / Assistant Manager. Congratulations Adam on your new role.
Francois will be available for selection for tomorrow’s game against Radcliffe.
Welcome to the Gingerbreads Francois!
