David Feld says
It seems to me that it is the intention of the authorities to cause as much inconvenience for the greatest length of time to the citizens/drivers of Grantham. The recent ‘work’ on Barrowby Road was an example in point. The ‘works’ on Springfield Road are a current example – especially at teatime – when the temporary lights has been causing huge chaos. it doesn’t help that Grantham drivers don’t know that you don’t enter a junction or section of road if their exit is not clear – just like at the yellow box at Premier Court.
The multi-way signals at Premier Court and elsewhere are so badly synchronised that, at times, half of the town becomes gridlocked – not helped by drivers who are ignorant of the reason for yellow boxes.
