Police have made a further five arrests in relation to a serious assault in Belton Lane, Grantham.
A 21-year-old man was arrested on 6 October, an 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were arrested on 7 October, and another 17-year-old boy arrested on 11 October. All four have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and have been released on bail.
A 17-year-old girl has also been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice on 11 October and released on bail.
The report that a man in his 20s had sustained a serious head injury was mad at around 1.35am on Saturday 1 October.
Police believe the victim was struck with a bottle while he was walking along the street. He remains in hospital with injuries which are described as “potentially life-changing”.
Police also believe that there will be people who saw this incident, or have more information about what happened who we have not yet spoken with. They would also be keen to view any dashcam, CCTV, or mobile phone footage of the incident.
