Wholetime recruit firefighters are aiming to climb the height of Mt Everest on a 13.5 meter ladder to raise funds for the firefighters charity.
Between the team, they will need to climb the ladder 656 times (55 times each) to reach the height of the world’s tallest peak.
This is all to aid The Firefighters Charity- who support firefighters and their families from across the country in their time of need. From dealing with life-changing injury or health diagnosis to an unexpected curve ball thrown up by life, The Firefighters Charity is there to help those who help the public.
Additionally, for the 80th anniversary of the formation of The Firefighters Charity, Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service is aiming to raise £80,000 to support the cause.
Your donations will help The Firefighters Charity provide a high-quality service, helping firefighters get back to their best .
