Police are appealing for witnesses following a report that a van failed to stop after it was in collision with a car in Grantham.
The collision involved at blue Skoda Octavia and a blue Ford transit pick-up. The vehicles are alleged to have collided before the driver of the pick-up then left the scene.
The incident was reported to have taken place at 4.20pm yesterday (Tuesday 29 August) at the junction of Harlaxton Road and Dysart Road.
Police are asking anyone who might have dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage to check their footage and see if they might have captured the incident, or either of the vehicles in the surrounding streets between 4pm and 4.30pm yesterday.
They are also keen to speak with any witnesses who may have information which can help our investigation.
Police have arrested a 37-year-old man on suspicion of failing to stop and criminal damage in connection with this incident. He has been released on police bail while we continue our investigation.
