As long as you weren’t asked to use the “Tradesmens entrance “ I remember just before Christmas 1973 having to take a load of logs onto Aubrey Noakes residence on Belton lane, hand balling about 12 tons of chopped logs was no fun, and if I remember correctly it was raining. Didn’t even get a thank you.
I have a tankard that was given to Lees employees made of pewter with the famous “raggy Lee” Logo of the rabbit with the raised top hat, a throwback to the time when Lees dealt in rabbit skins I believe
