Early bird tickets now on sale for this year’s Heckington Show!

April 4, 2026 Leave a Comment

Tickets are now on sale for the 2026 Heckington Show and organisers are encouraging visitors to book early to make the most of what promises to be another packed weekend.

Held on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July, the show is widely regarded as the largest village show in the UK, drawing around 25,000 visitors across the two days. With so much to see and do, attendees are advised that both days are needed to take it all in.

Gates open at 9am each day, with free parking available on site. Saturday evening will also feature a grand firework display and open air concert from 7pm.

Taking place on the last full weekend in July, the show has built a reputation for combining the warmth and intimacy of a village event with entertainment and competition on a national scale. Across the weekend, visitors can expect a wide variety of activities and displays – from equestrian events and livestock classes to athletics, cycling and family-friendly fun – with something to appeal to all ages.

Organisers describe it as a quintessentially English summer occasion, and one that brings together communities in a spirit of friendly competition, pride and shared enjoyment. The event is run entirely by volunteers.
