Councillor who failed to win a seat on county council will still serve on SKDC and town

Thank you to everyone who voted for me in the Grantham South County Council election.

I came second against Reform UK with former Conservative Cllr Stokes third.

It was one of the closest calls.

I am hugely disappointed at the way the election went although not entirely surprised given the national picture.

Too many people feel disenfranchised by the main political parties.

All Independent councillors previously on LCC were re-elected and so we will still have a voice and way to raise concerns at County level.

I hope to remain on LCC Health Scrutiny committee representing SKDC. I am still a St Vincent’s Ward Grantham Town & District Councillor and will continue to support our community as best I can.
