Located on Bourne Road, The Orchards is an idyllic collection of two, three and four bedroom homes, ideal for those seeking a village lifestyle while surrounded by picturesque woods and fields in the Lincolnshire countryside. The development will also be energy efficient and feature solar panels and electric car charging points.
The doors to the four bedroom show home, The Walnut, were officially opened by Councillor Nick Robins. The opening means that property seekers are now able to book an appointment with the sales team to view the show home and enquire about the available properties.
The Walnut is a stunning detached home featuring a spacious lounge and free-flowing combined kitchen and dining area, which opens up to the garden to create the perfect space for entertaining. Completing the downstairs are a utility room and handy cloakroom.
Upstairs are three double bedrooms, one of which features a fitted wardrobe and en suite, a single bedroom and a modern family bathroom.
Councillor Nick Robins, who represents the Castle ward, said: “It is good to see developers embracing the South Kesteven Design Guide and using it to shape better places for where we live, work and study. I also welcome the use of renewable energy initiatives and the supply of electric vehicle charging points. It is also encouraging to see tree lined avenues and the supply of much needed affordable homes and this Corby Glen Allison Homes development has made significant progress in incorporating these into their latest scheme.
“I look forward to working alongside developers to ensure residents of South Kesteven live in good quality homes that we can all be proud of.”
Samantha Hart, Sales and Marketing Director at Allison Homes Central Region, said: “We are thrilled to have launched the show home at The Orchards, and are delighted to have had Councillor Nick Robins celebrate this occasion with us. This is an excellent development, and now property seekers will have a much better idea of what their future home will look like, helping them to picture their lives here.
“At Allison Homes, we’re all about helping our customers realise their dreams, so we would highly encourage anyone who is interested to get in touch as soon as possible, to secure a home that does just that.”
Corby Glen is a wonderful location to call home. There is a wide range of facilities and amenities, including charming village shops, an art gallery, a library and the village pub. There is also plenty of things to do and ways to connect with the community in the local area, including a history society, walking and bowls clubs, and the horticultural society.
The village is also a great place for children, making it the perfect place to raise a family. Residents can enjoy the village green which features a well maintained playground, that is always popular among residents, and there are two Ofsted ‘Good’ rated schools nearby, Corby Glen Community Primary School and Charles Read Academy for older students.
The Orchards is only 13 miles away from the beautiful Georgian town of Stamford, known for its historic buildings and copious shops and cafes, as well as Burghley House which hosts an internationally famous Horse Show every year. Corby Glen is also just eight miles away from Bourne, which is home to Bourne Wood, where serene walks through lush trees allow for an appreciation of nature.
