A TV production company is searching for contestants for the second series of Secret Genius on Channel 4, and they want to hear from people across the UK who feel their intelligence has been overlooked or underestimated.
The show, hosted by Alan Carr and Susie Dent, sees contestants tackle large-scale intelligence challenges inspired by Mensa-style puzzles. The first series attracted more than 2.1 million viewers for its opening episode.
Producers say they are looking for adults from all walks of life – not just people with academic backgrounds, but anyone who has ever felt quietly convinced they were the smartest person in the room while nobody else noticed.
The second series promises more games and new ways for viewers at home to test their own abilities alongside the contestants.
If you think that sounds like you – or someone you know – you can find the application form and full terms and conditions at geniuscasting.co.uk. Alan Carr has also recorded a short casting video on Instagram for anyone considering applying.
